PREMIERE!
Meet Mark Linley Evans, self-proclaimed Ecological Property Developer; a man with big plans, big ideas, and big dreams. He wants to clean up the world, and he wants to “clean up” financially. It all starts with the redevelopment of a crumbling squat in Dulwich. But Mark’s manic enthusiasm has a darker side. Finding himself the subject of a documentary portrait, he takes the chance to exorcise a few demons…
A darkly funny new feature film from Salford-born actor, writer, director (and Eastenders star) Stephen Lord, a long-time supporter and friend of the festival, who wanted the world premiere to be right here - in the community where he grew up. The film will be showing with two shorts, also directed by Stephen: IN LOVING MEMORY OF…, and UNTITLED, and we are hoping he will be joining us for a Q&A session after the screening.
