This year's Salford Film Festival is crossing the Irwell, to showcase the city's cinematic talents to Manchester.
The festival's opening night party will be held on Friday 23 November at 110 Restaurant, Manchester, just a stone’s throw from Salford. With the festival returning for a 4th year and gathering support from across the region, we thought it was about time we showed our neighbours how it's all done. We'll be screening a selection of the best regional short films and introducing some of the highlights of this year's festival.
We're proud to be working with 110 Restaurant and Bar - the latest fine dining experience in Manchester, situated within the Circus Casino, 110 Portland Street. The restaurant will be transformed into a cinema for the night, making it the perfect venue for this event. We thank them for their support and sponsorship.
Once we've launched the event on the 23rd in Manchester, it will of course be back home across the Irwell to Salford for the rest of the festival and 5 days of unique screenings, seminars, workshops and special events. Remember, it’s a festival for the people of Salford, by the people of Salford, starring the people of Salford. We just wanted to let everyone know how special our festival is!
